Audio > different time signatures in a mod tracker?

#77273 - racarate - Wed Mar 29, 2006 10:27 pm

Hi, I am new to the world of GBA music. I am using a program called ModPlug Tracker, and I was wondering if I could compose a song in 3/3 time. As it is now, there are 64 time slices in a pattern, no more and no less, so I can only make a song in 4/4 or 2/2.

Thanks!
Nick

You can use the pattern break effect (Bxx I think) to basically shorten the pattern. So like break on row 48 so you get 3x16 rows rather than 4x16.

In S3M, C00 is pattern break and Bxx is pattern jump.
