Is there a program that will let me compose a .s3m file using a visual editor? (Like noteworthy composer, or finale) I realise how flexible modplug tracker is, but I just don't like to have to punch stuff in by numbers, as I get lost to easily. I need to be able to see the notes to make any sense out of a song.
Thanks!

Tried. Works like a four letter word I probably shouldn't say. I need to be able to use all of the features (well, at least the sample changing parts) relatively easily wthin the staves. Having it actually detect the note durations properly wouldn't hurt either.

I hear that FineMidi is a very good converter to s3m, so if you prefer to work with midi - try it out.:

EDIT: Click on Musique to see finemidi, then click ici to get to the download page.
