This is a contract position with an option to renew.

Capybara Games Inc. is currently seeking a game programmer for a
Nintendo DS production. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience
working as a game programmer or equivalent. The candidate MUST be
familiar with the Nintendo DS platform.

Job Responsibilities:
? Designs and develops under the Lead Programmer?s supervision
? Assists with capturing requirements and compiling technical documentation
? Works closely with the development, design, and QA teams in order to
assist in the technical planning and production of the project
? Assists with the scheduling requirements for the project
? Integrates change requests and playtesting feedback
? Actively seeks review and input from other team members

Required Skills:
? Passionate gamer and creative problem solver
? Experienced with Nintendo DS platform
? Proficient in C and/or C++.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Team player
? Excellent debugging and optimization skills

Is this a telework position, or would it require relocation to Canada?

It would indeed require relocation to Toronto, Canada. We are also open to cover some of the relocation costs.
