Help Wanted > Looking for DS programmer to develop application

#169577 - rodf - Sat Jul 25, 2009 7:43 am

I need a DS " game" application developed for use by licensed psychologist for kids.

Based in Brisbane, Australia. Please send resume, with hourly rates and availability to rod@frowd.net.

Anticipate it would be 3-6 weeks work with extension.

I may be wrong but I don't see why a capable homebrewer wouldn't want to be paid for a few weeks instead of doing something for free for a few weeks.

Most of the Help Wanted ads here are "quick, help me clone Zelda for free". This one is offering money for a tangible project.

I agree with Pete. Not only will the programmer be paid for their work, but the game in question is meant for being helpful.

I would hope that the outline for this game is already created so the programmer has something to work with.

Do you have a budget? Can the programmer work remotely?

I sent him an email a while ago; there is a budget, remote is ok and this is a very interesting project. I'm not sure if the position is still open, but I've just asked him and am awaiting a response.
