Beginners > devkitadv ?? directories

#6495 - hey_suburbia - Tue May 27, 2003 9:14 pm

I've read 6 or 7 tutorials on how to set up the directory, but I still can't get it to go...

binutils
core
gcc
newlib
libstdcpp

It says to keep the folder names? , but two have bin and two have lib folders?? I'm confused how is the directory set up? Anyone got a screen shot?
c:/devkitadv/

I'm sorry, but I'm stuck..

Thanks

Code:
C:\devkitadv>dir /b /ad
arm-agb-elf
bin
crtls
doc
example
include
lib
share
testsuite

Don't unzip each zip file into a separate folder. Unzip them into the same folder, just as you would if you were installing DJGPP. (DJGPP's djdev corresponds to DevKit Advance's core and newlib.) For example, the gcc and binutils zip files both contain files that go in .../devkitadv/bin.
