Beginners > Anyone know how to get Final Fantasy IV 2 to work.

I downloaded it from gbadev.org but the file is not recognized by the computer. Do I need a compiler or something?

Thanks for your help and I can't wait to play the game.

It's a ZIP file, then grab a GBA emulator to play the game.

You're not missing much. It's just a "Hello World" of rpg map engines, using some graphics and maps ripped from Final Fantasy 4.

It does not download as a zip. The file is unrecognized. Does anyone know where i can get this since the file must be corrupted

File isn't corrupt, it's just missing the .zip extension. Give it one.

And as was said above, it is a REALLY old tech demo with HORRIBLE coding ethics that make me barf right now :P

EDIT:

Oh yeah.. new one's in progress, with sound and everything. My programming has advanced a fair bit in ~1 year :)

Now if only my mode 7 routine would co-operate.. >>'
