Beginners > DragonBASIC with extended documentation.....

#169284 - crysstaafur - Sat Jun 27, 2009 9:28 pm

Yeppers, I decided to visit the waybackmachine at internet archive and pull together as much info as I can for dragonbasic. Additionally I have added as many public domain roms made in dragonbasic that have the source code included as well.

If you don't have the
DragonBASIC 1.4.5 compiler with all bugfixes integrated in addition to the document archive mentioned above

If you already have the latest (and last) compiler and want
Just the expanded document archive and pdroms

I sincerely hope this help a lot of beginners out there...

Hey, just thought I'd say thanks for this. I still mess around with DB on occasion, just for the sake of it, and having decent examples (even if most of them no longer compile) is very helpful.

I appreciate this, too... I'm still not sure how to make tile-based graphics work, so hopefully this will clear up a few questions I had about them. Does the updated version of Dragon BASIC fix the system crashes that happen whenever you try to use LINE in the bitmapped mode?

I knew my packrat behavior would come in handy someday! =D

You're most welcome. I'm not sure that I could help with DragonBASIC stuff anymore considering that I failed at it 2 years ago, but I'm willing to help with what limited knowledge I have.
