Why do i think that the actual post didn't meet the topic of the post?

uhm, what do you want to know? www.thepernproject.com is the website you are searching for if you have just started with gba dev.

You will also find image converters there (though it's always better to use your own).
I am currently working on an image converter suite that will provide some nice features...

gif2sprites is very good for beginners
gfx2sprites is brilliant but needs some knowledge/experience

uhm, i guess you're talking about pcx2gba because there is nothing like wtf2sprites (i am trying to point out that most gfx converters only convert 1 image at once and therefor it's a bit tricky to get a good palette, but i am working on this for my own converter)

???

Is this refered to me or the original poster? If me, both of the above utilites (well gif2sprites at least) supports multiple image input and standardises the palette for you..

I just finished my 32bit bmp to 8 bit bin converter (with floyd steinberg dithering and color quantization), i am going to submit it today because i think many devrs are in need of such a tool. I never noticed the gif2sprites tool... Well, i don't like to work with gifs :)

gfx2gba alos supports multiple sprites with one palette and there is also a nice frontend by joeybell which handles it's features pretty nicely.

hmmm

gfx2sprites or gfx2gba ??

I didn't find gfx2sprites anywhere, so Yaustar, are you sure to not do a mistake mixing the both names?
