Beginners > what do i do next???

ok...here's the thing
i already learned...

displaying a picture
using sprites
changing dinamically sprites (animations)
changing dinamically BG
setting a clock
check for one single press
and for releases
rotating sprites, scaling, and mosaic too.
the sound channel one,two and three (i still cant undertand direct sound)
saving data..(at leats one data lol)
mode 2, rotating BG
mode 0, text BG (this was really hard :S)
scrolling BG

ok...now my question is...what next??????????????
im thinking about learning to detect colition using tiles. what do you think? what should be my next?

yes i know this has nothing to do with programming but im a very metodic guy and i need to leard step by step..thanks

Try to make a game with what you've learned; then you'll see what you need to learn next.

mmm...im thinking about a castlevania clone, and the things i need to learn im going to learn it in the way lol

detecting colition may be the next step

Yes, tile-sprite collisions should be the next thing you learn, whether you clone Tetris, Breakout, Pac-Man, or Castlevania.

Search the forums - I've put up some good info on this topic a number of time in the past. It's one of my specialties :)
