Beginners > Multiboot

I have recently bought a GBAMP and I was wondering if there was any way to make a game multiboot by giving it a header etc. Can anyone help me?

Thanks,
Biubid_boy.

Add the -specs=gba_mb.specs flag to the linker step and it will create a multiboot rom.

Remember of course that the game must be the correct size. Too large and it won't fit.

Sorry, I meant making a non-multiboot game multiboot after its been compiled. And not for piracy. In fact, I hate pircay with the flaming passion of a thousand fiery suns.

Piracy wouldn't work anyway seeing as how most comercial games are way too big to do that with.

No, you will need to recompile and in most cases modify the source code to run as a multiboot. This is because non-multiboot games expect a flashcart to be in the GBA, and willtry to load stuff from one even if it isn't there. Any game that doesn't do this has most likely been compiled as multiboot anyway, unless the author was ignorant of the non-flash card users out there.
