I need 4 of them. They don't need to be fancy, just compatible with the SP. Need to play just games that I designed and 4 because I want to test out multiplayer stuff. Anyone know where I could get some? Thanks.

Really hard to find them nowadays. You probably will have better luck seeking for used SuperCard SD or similar stuff...

I am fine with used.

I did find this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mini-SuperCard-SD-for-GBA-SP-GBM-IDS-NDS-NDSL-/261626025188?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cea2054e4#shpCntId

Is this the type of thing I would need? Though, I would prefer not eBay if I can help it, and not from China... That's the card you mentioned though right? And will I have problems with compatibility with my games?

Edit: I'm seeing bad reviews with lag issues with this.. Is it really so hard to find them? even for an expensive price?

LAG? It seems to me it works by copying the selected ROM file into its internal memory before running the software so I don't think there's any lag.
I admit I'm not an expert on this, but I never noticed any lag while testing WaimanuGBA...

Yes, it's hard. I've been looking for a couple years. I can't find them anymore at all.

db-elec might be interested in developing and delivering such cards, if there's an interesting demand... he's already developing similar devices for other systems.
I'm not sure anyway since if I remember correctly, there's some sort of DRM involved in GBA carts, and of course homebrew is unsigned code.

I don't think so -- I think the only thing was that you had to have the magic header numbers in place for the nintendo logo. But that was defined in the rom, not in the cartridge hardware.

Ok, then it's me mixing up with DS stuff :|

I did find a site which sells EZ Flash IV for $40, so I think I'll go with that one. Thanks all.

Ooh, I'm interested in where you found that. Can you PM it to me or post it in the retailer feedback thread? (links to stores aren't allowed in the main discussion threads)

Thanks!
