Hi..I got a new battery, opened the cart, i tried to take out the old battery but it seems to be stuck somehow, how can i replace it?
I'm talking about Flash advance extreme 128MB

The battery is spot welded onto the legs, and then the legs are soldered onto the PCB.
Therefore you need to desolder the battery + legs and replace both.

The battery should not be dead yet... Usually they are supposed to last at least 5 years... Of course, some flash cart might use alot of battery juice...

but what if i ahve no soldering skills? cant i just rip the old battery off?

Sure, you could rip the old battery off, but that's only half the problem. I don't think gluing the new one on would be the best approach, heh.
