hey guys
i cant get any save types to work on my carts... i tried every kind of patching and nothing is working...
does anyone here have experience with changing linker cart batteries? thanks!!!!!

What brand/model/size etc cart is it? How long ago did you buy it? Have you dropped it or anything?

hey there
i have a wisebox linker (its ancient) and i bought this disfunctional cart from someone on a forum... said he never used it but he was obviously lying
i posted an arguement about him but i ended up losing (long story)...
anyways... thats it

If it's a Wisebox linker, it's probably a matching Wise Card, right?

Yes, but it does not have to be.
Anyway, batteries can of course be replaced.
If the cart hold saves until you shut the GBA off, then the battery is the problem.

turn off my cart and its poof gone

Then go and change the battery. (requires some soldering)

i tried... the battery is now hanging on the contacts but im sure that the contact is made
still no saves function, but the cart still works as it did before, that is roms can be uploaded and played, just no saves work
can i test my battery in any way? if i try test it with a volmeter i should get 3v across it right? thanks
