I purchased this linker near the end of Summer of 2004 I didn't use it for a while. And just started getting in the GBA dev in December and I went to use it and i'm getting "FindPort() error" I have all of the drivers installed. Anyone help?

What OS are you running, and which USB chipset does your computer have (look in Device Manager)?

Hello,
Using the modified XP drivers may solve the problem.
Or, even better, if you run *nix (which you should as you are a developer:), give if2a a try. I am looking for testers, especially of the Ultra side.
Thanks for your help (the thread link for if2a is in my sig).

Hello,
Please understand we cannot help with so little information. Add more : what OS version are you using, what version of Powerwriter, what happens in the USB device manager whith linker unplugged, then plugged, then with Powerwriter running. Be also sure to install the drivers and try on another PC.
Then we may able to give you more hints on what to do.
Vince

Hi,
you have changed your USB port. Please connect the cable on that port you have first installed the pw-software.
If this will not help, deinstall the f2a drivers and re-install the complete powerwriter software again.
