DS development > bmp2bin, 256 color images (8-bit) [SOLVED]

Hi guys,

I've been wondering how to use bmp2bin to convert a 256color bitmap into a x.bin and x_palette.bin. I've looked everywhere, but I couldn't find any resource pointing out how to CREATE those files. The libnds example (2D/256color_bmp) only teaches how to use those in code.

I really need this as 16-bit sprites are too big!

I found 'gfx2gba'. Still trying to work it out though.

use usenti instead ;p

I have tried Usenti, but I haven't been able to set the -mLs option needed for git.exe to generate tiled background data. Problem was that all the other generators work with 1D mode. I needed SBB mode (2D?).
