What do i need to setup to have my NDS able to connect to my PC using DSWIFI lib ? can i use my offical NDS connector and drivers?

I am not 100% sure how the NDS connector works but if it gets an ip address you will be able to write a program that could connect to your PC. If you don't mind me asking what is it that you are trying to do?

I am trying to find a way to trandfer my homebrew code to my nds to run instead of keep plugging my card in and out of the slot

This type of application already exists. Checkout http://www.drunkencoders.com/hosted/bafio/
I believe it is called wifi transfer. You run a java application on your pc and then run the wific.nds on your ds and it connects to your pc enabling you to download the apps to your card.
I hope that this helps.

If the wifi test lib works via your router and your ip gets an ip address then you wouldn't need to setup the computer as an AP. It will communicate via TCP/IP.

Well you could give this a try: Download the wifi transfer app from the link that I provided. Run the wific.nds on your ds and do a search for AP and see if it shows up. If it does then run the java application and connect to it to transfer files.

You might need to enable SSID broadcast in order for the DS to pick up your AP.

Hangs? Do you mean it finds your router, but you can't connect, or it doesn't find your router at all? Does 'wardriving app' find any APs at all?
At least where I live, it finds a ton of them

I don't think that app supports WEP, it's pretty old.

The things I did to get my D-Link DI-524 (E) to work (I have it plugged to my ADSL router), hope this is of any help:
* WEP 128bit HEX, used a 26 HEX characters long password (e.g., 0 pad it, if you must)
* Set DI-524 to work as a DHCP (don't know if it can be used just a passthrough device,
seems like not) so DS would be in its local network, getting an IP like 192.168.0.x
* Opened up port 8888 for incoming/outgoing traffic, because DI-524 blocks almost all ports
by default
So I use port 8888 for homebrew stuff, but Mario Kart would connect without opening any specific ports. Perhaps it uses a port like http that is open by default, etc...

Just for curiosity. What does it appear in the test of the lib version 0.2b? You can find it here (scroll down).
