hi there! i'm currently stuck on a port of an sdl port of WINROTT (Rise Of The Triads). the original program had a loader and i was wondering how i would change it to run on a ds?

Hmmm, I know what you're talking about. I think it would be easiest to just examine how the loader works and then bypass it with default settings. A lot of the stuff the WinROTT loader does isn't necessary/applicable on the DS. Once you've bypassed it you'll probably need to comment out the loader code in order to allow compiliation to proceed...

alrite thanks i think i'll get started on that rite now........... and have u noticed that ds doom doesn't save? hopefully for rott i've mapped NDS L and R to , and . (for strafing purposes) so you can press one of those to name the save game!

oopz! i kno it's nOobish of me but how do you compile scripts?
