DS development > How do I perform a directory listing?

#116240 - Jayenkai - Tue Jan 23, 2007 4:49 pm

I've had a good hunt with the search, but it refuses to highlight individual posts, which means toddling about the 15+ pages of some topics. So, um, yeah...

I've hunting for a method to list the files from a directory, using the latest DLDI libfat (which took me long enough to find, in the first place!)
The libfat directory suggests that "more devices work but can't list directory", but I've noticed a few of the latest DLDI programs are giving out nice listings, so if anyone could give a quick How To, that'd be great.

Thanks.

You could use the nds_gba_fat, which is an old version of the lib, but it also has the DLDI stuff implemented.

There are radio buttons next to "Display results as:".

So there are. Silly me for having not noticed that.
Anyhoo, I'll give that GBA fat thing a go. Thanks all.

For directory listings with latest libfat you need to update to DKP CVS, or wait DKP-r20, which anyway should come soon.

If you want to try, I'll give you instructions.
