DS development > Wifime with usb ratlink on Macintosh?

#116245 - jandujar - Tue Jan 23, 2007 5:31 pm

I know it's posible to upload homebrew or demos using wifime on windows or linux.

And I know it's posible using a ratlink USB. More info http://simon.teunvandeberg.nl/nifi/rt2570/howto_choose.html

But I don't know how to do it in mac os. Could somebody help me?

I don't want to boot knoppix on my macintosh, could I compile the wifime on mac?

How to?

lol ratlink.

AFAIK, nobody has done wifime on Mac. If you have some other way of booting homebrew, there are other tools for sending homebrew/demos over wifi, which work with almost any wifi card. dsftp, or there's a simple one by dovoto.

You could just run parallels or bootcamp and install windows temporarily.

Windows won't help for USB ralink devices, there're only Windows drivers for the PCI/cardbus versions.
