Of course, this assumes a couple things. Save chip being the ident factor for which microSD adapter was reinserted, save chip being available on reinsert... I only know for shure at this point MK5 (and likely all the other similar cards) ID as a 2mbit save chip using cardme.

I think it would be useful if we can get more data on which slot-1 cards use eeprom which is compatible with commercial cart eeprom.
I have a small test app for this:

1. press 'START' to bypass first sceen
2. press 'A' on 'DS Cart Info'
3. post what card you have, and what you get for type, size & ID

loading the .nds file through WMB (inserted card before starting download), and from GBAMP (inserted card after program loaded):
