Just wondering, has anyone ever been brave enough to try DS XBOO? I kinda wanted to find out what the interface, features, etc. are but lack the skills and the need to install it.

xboo works fine. but you need an old pc with an lpt port. modern pc's don't have usually a lpt port.

DS XBOO, not XBOO. DS XBOO is supposedly a full firmware replacement, etc.

don't you think if this was possible people would be doing it?
the NO$GBA emulator has a "read firmware from ds"
option...

It is possible, it comes with NO$GBA, but you have to build a serial cable and solder it to the mainboard - it's not WiFi, like you're probably thinking.

Mate, chuckstudios was asking a legit question here - you can't stomp all over him like this. Don't automatically assume that he's getting at you or something - soldering stuff onto your DS is a 'big deal'.
