DS development > generic booting of code?

#128702 - spinal_cord - Mon May 14, 2007 10:09 am

Just wondering, using palib, is there any source around for booting homebrew that would work on any/most cards? I assume using dldi to read the filenames etc. I would like to boot a few roms(hb) from a custom menu, but I dont know where to start.

any help appreciated, thankyou.

<lol> sooo right!
you know, pirates are not welcome here. ;^) but you're a fine person and attached an (hb), so we'll believe you don't intend to do "bad things". <high five!>

NOTE: although the word "rom" doesn't imply "pirated rom", it's often used as a synonym and raises suspicion and you may get flamed without being a "pirate".

I have no intention in launching commercially produced games and software. If people want to play pirated games on there ds, they will not be using my program to do it.

If I had been asking about launching commercial roms, surely I would have mentioned pokemon?
