DS development > Text on both screens not happy

#159553 - iainprice - Wed Jul 02, 2008 4:21 pm

OK, so I'm miffed now. I have spent ages making my program work with libfb so that I can have text on two screens at once, over top of an image.......works quite well.....

or so i thought.

emu is happy, so I finally put it onto my R4... arghhhhhh

does anyone have a nice simple method of putting text to two screens on top of a background image.....just a few lines of source would be great as I have no hair left and am very annoyed......

I'll be back later.... must go and eat chocolate to cheer myself up :(

Which emulator do you use?
Did you ever try pressing F3 (displays error counter dialog) in no$gba?

PS: Eating chocolate, too, because of this! ;^D

Using ideas emu... no problems there... but the hardware just displays blank white screens.

I recommend no$gba. You really have to test it and see, if the result is closer to what you get on the hardware or in ideas.

Apart from some special cases (like 512x256 bitmap BGs, display capturing and shadow polygon rendering - which have been fixed in 2.6a), it's amazingly accurate. ;^)
