DS development > Collision detection with PAlib? [Renamed]

#161704 - jester - Mon Aug 11, 2008 8:22 pm

how to put a platform on top of the .bmp file and code it so it moves and has a collision..

I need to know how to do this as I am looking at animating a background in the ds homebrew I am using.

PAlib by the way.

You should probably ask that in the PAlib forum...

Normally, you just program that yourself. That is: collision detection and response for moving platforms etc.
But I really don't know whether PAlib already has functionality for that sort of things or not. (If it hasn't, then what's the point in using it, anyway?) ;^)

There's nothing special about the way sprite-on-sprite collisions or moving a sprite the way you want it to are done when using PAlib, so you guys can feel free to help him.
