WiFi is a standard that includes Bluetooth. But as it seems DS will only support wlan? What about it? Do they do false marketing?

It supports 802.11 wireless networking. I'm not sure whether is is 802.11b or 802.11g, but it is probably the first, to keep costs down and that's all that is really necessary.
I've been wondering, what does WiFi stand for? I know what it is but not what it stand for. I think the "Wi" stands for wireless, but what about the "Fi" part of it?

Wi Fi?
You got the first part right, WiFi stands for Wireless Fidelity.
(by the way my knowledge of WiFi doesn't go to much farther than that at the moment)

The Wi-Fi Alliance is a nonprofit international association formed in 1999 to certify interoperability of wireless Local Area Network products based on IEEE 802.11 specification. Currently the Wi-Fi Alliance has over 200 member companies from around the world, and over 1250 products have received Wi-Fi? certification since certification began in March of 2000. The goal of the Wi-Fi Alliance's members is to enhance the user experience through product interoperability.
