DS development > Nintendo DS Antenna

Hello, can anyone give me a picture (or description, but preferable a picture) that hilights where the ds antenna is on the inside? I was just wondering and i don't want to go proding around in my DS to find out. Thanx -Leif902

I have never seen a picture of it though.

The vertical black thing between the silver DS cart slot and the silver chip. That is the antenna

Phoenix, look at my picture, yours is upside down. its on the top just to the right of the ds slot

That is the lead too the antenna, not the antenna itself.

Notice how it wraps around into the hinge to the top half.

The gold-metal thing is the connector to the black antenna or antenna cable.

I'd say the black cable itself is the antenna, unless it is connected to something else hidden on the other side of the board?

Here you can easily see the black antenna lead going into the upper portion of the DS:

And it connects to.. Nothing.
Hence the black lead is the antenna.

Ok guys this all has been talked about before on this form. In posts like Boosting WiFi range and wifi range expander, etc.

The following link will show you the insides and what the antenna is.

Okay thanx all... i'm still a little confused though because of the variouse replys... its the green thing right? could someone post a link to a picture w/ the antenaa circled or if you can't post could you send it as atatchment to leif902@hotmail.com... thanx.

P.S. i'm pretty sure the wirless is 4.2ghz

I know you meant to say 2.4Ghz, but other people reading might not know that.
