DS development > MacStumbler

Umm...yea I'e heard that NetStumbler can see the DS as a MAC address, but I can't run that program on my Apple comp. So my question is, how would get MacStumbler (witch from what I've heard is basicly the same thing, only for Mac) to see my DS?

MacStumbler ain't gonna cut it. It doesn't show anything but the most obvious of 802.11 traffic.

What you want is KisMAC: http://kismac.binaervarianz.de/

It circumvents the OS's drivers and uses it's own to control the wireless nic to maximal control. See if you have a nic that works in passive mode as listed on this page: http://kismac.binaervarianz.de/hardwarelist.php

Once you have KisMAC running with an passive mode compatible device configure it to capture all traffic and then I suggest you use Fink: http://fink.sourceforge.net/ to install Ethereal on your mac which can open the KisMAC capture files which I believe are normal pcap files.

macstumbler is a hunk of crap, IMO. You're much better off with Kismac.
