I don't see how Nintendo's plans have anything to do with being able to surf the net on the DS.

Given that many public IP-over-Wi-Fi access points require HTTP and HTML support in order to get a world routable IP, a web browser at least as powerful as w3m is a possibility. But given that Niиtendo will have its own access point network whose fee is included with the price of the games, that may not be as much of a concern.

Price of what games? Are you saying that we have to pay for the wireless? I thought it was free. Or do you need Mario or something to use the capability?

Eh, Nintendo has already confirmed you will be able to get online from any AP, not Nintendo-sponsored ones.

The wireless is free, but to use it you need the TCP/IP which will come built in the games, so you have to buy the games to get online.

Or, we get a TCP/IP Stack work in our Homebrewed Tools. then, programming a browser won't be that much of a horror...
