DS development > GBAMP and passme

#52778 - leoedin - Fri Sep 02, 2005 11:25 pm

Well...my passme arrived from the US today (only took 6 days all the way to the UK), and I tried to get it working with my GBAMP. My GBAMP is flashed properly (I think) but whenever I boot up, it just goes straight to the GBA mode gbamp menu, which is odd as I don't have auto-boot turned on. I know the passmes doing something, but its wrong.

Can anyone give me any help

Thanks in advance
Leo

What files do you have on your GBAMP? You need to put on a .nds file renamed to "_BOOT_MP.nds".
.ds.gba files don't work yet.

I know...I ahve _BOOT_MP.nds, flashmp_mb.gba, flashmp.nds, OMalone.nds and the folder mb_data, as the boot_mp is the multi boot proggy.

anyone help?

After you've modded your GBAMP, boot into DS mode through the GBA slot- using your passme, or WiFiMe, you should Flash your DS using the flashme file renamed as '_BOOT_MP.NDS', in the root directory of your CF.

thats really and utterly useless.

Firstly, I have no wish to use flashme and secondly, I can't get it to go into NDS mode in the first place, it just boots the GBAMP in GBA mode.

The person most likely to be able to help is probable chishm, ???

You don't have _BOOT_MP.GBA on your card. You need that too.

I'm not sure you're following me....Take a file, for example OMalone.nds, and rename it to _BOOT_MP.nds

EDIT : Never mind. I just saw you were using the multiboot progy.
