DS development > Big background maps?

Hi,
I've just started on a project for the DS, and I need to use a really big map (just one screen wide though) that scrools from the top and down. No repeating here, just a big-ass map.

Has anyone got some tips that could point me into the right direction, that would be highly appreciated.

I think I saw an example to this for GBA, but I dunno where it was =/

I'm using Pa_lib with devkitPro and libnds.

there are functions for this in PAlib, check the large map examples in the latest versions of the lib...
