DS development > whats the original 3d format of nintendo ds???

hello and congratulations for this forum that resolve most of de dudes for the beginnig of programing for nintendo ds.

Ima 3d modeler and i have a dude, the is:
I have ndstools to rip some roms of nds, and i see some rare formats, and i think that could be any tool to rip them and in one of them i see a folder with the 3d models i dont remember the extension of the files now but im sure thats there are the 3d model format.

Thx and if anyopne knows how to convert to a 3ds or another common format, pls answer this post. This could be used for export ouer 3d projects to nds native format.

There is nothing magic behind 3d formats

each company makes their own to suit their games

most of them are just vertex lists

yes i know, but i can decrypt it o open wit a editor, i only couls see rare character.

I doubt you'll be able to decrypt any 3d models from any games other than the ones in the metroid demo, most important files are compressed into signed binary files with the extension SBIN

That is, unless and until someone gets a DS emulator actually working. Then there might be a "Display List Viewer" in the same way that VBA, Nintendulator, and the like have a "Map Viewer".
