Okay, so I'm thinking of using Stealth Flashme 7 on my DS lite, because I heard Flashme lite has bugs that ruin the sound.
I need to be directed on what to use to flash my lite with, both the flashme version and the tool I should use.
Thanks.

At least wait 24 hours... doubtless someone will come along who can help.

Flashme (any version, stealth-or anything) has bugs with DS LITE

Says who? Hasn't the volume thing turned out to be related to hardware revisions?

I think it IS hardware related. My DS Lite, flashed or not, had a somewhat lower volume than my standard DS.

Or you could be a bit more active and search for the answer. A video was posted on YouTube over a week ago with a complete walkthrough. Then there's the umpteen threads in this forum on the subject. Then there was a nice guide on ndshb.com. And...

But am I asking on how to flash my lite? No, I'm asking for the side effects of flashing a lite (ie, lower sound bug), how to fix them and/or when they will be fixed.
What you posted solved none of that and didn't contribute to the thread in anyway whatsoever.

If I were you, I'd wait until the next release.

There shouldn't be any side effects.
The lower sound 'bug' hasn't been proved (or disproved) as it's all been done by ear (If someone were to buy me a DSlite and a NoPass I could run some tests :P).

My old DS and my EUR launch DSLite (both flashed), as far as I could measure with me humble ears ;), have about the same level of volume when turned to max, so can this be the proof? (:

Plug them both into your sound card's line in jack through a $5 miniplug-to-miniplug cable, play AXE through them, and record them in Audacity. Compare the heights of the waveforms.
Does it depend on how bright you have the light set?

there you go. Looks like almost the same (in fact, lite seems to be a little louder, but not much).
on the highest brightness setting (above is the lowest), the volume is in fact lower, but you can barely tell even if zoomed in like this (only like one or two pixels in difference).
Well, sadly I don't have an unflashed DS lite.
