DS Flash Equipment > flashing a cart without a linker?

#90785 - spinal_cord - Sun Jul 02, 2006 12:37 pm

My EZflash linker recently died (burned out?) anyway it stoped working, there are no fuses or anything to replace, and windows doesn't detect when it plugged in. anyway, i dont have it anymore, i trew it out. I still have the cart though (ezflash 128). I was wondering is there a way to flash it from the DS? perhaps loading a rom to DS ram then flashing it to the cart (after swapping it over). I was hoping to at least have flashme on it, so when (if) i get a dslite, i can flash it without haveing to get a nopass (I have passkey 1 and 2)

is this possible, has anyone done this at all?

It's certainly possible, but I don't know of any programs to do it.

Perhaps I'll just sell it, there's boud to be someone who want's one, and already has a linker.

If I remember correctly there once was an app like that, but only for old Flash Advance Cards (didn't work on my F2A Pro).

My Flash2Advance flashes fine with an MBV2 multiboot cable.
