I looked and couldnt find it i also dont know what to search but is it possible to use a wireless pci card to act as an ap for a comp without a router?

yes, it's called SoftAP, but currently, it doesn't support NDS WFC. But it probally could be used with some of the WF aps

Where do i get SoftAP? i searched google and im not sure if that will work with my card or does it work with linksys wmp54g v4?

You need softap drivers (or drivers that get your card running in master mode). GigaByte has some softap drivers for its (and thus other) RT25*0 devices (which I use)...

mr.snowflake, I have a Gigabyte GN-WP01GS which supports softap, do you know how I can get it to work with NDS WFC. I get to the final part of it, then the signal goes red. It says there's no IP address or something

ok i got it all set up and wfc works but i cant get homebrew stuff like beup to go online do i have to change something? and yes i have the ip and dns set up manualy on my ds
