I looked and couldnt find it i also dont know what to search but is it possible to use a wireless pci card to act as an ap for a comp without a router?

yes, it's called SoftAP, but currently, it doesn't support NDS WFC. But it probally could be used with some of the WF aps

You need softap drivers (or drivers that get your card running in master mode). GigaByte has some softap drivers for its (and thus other) RT25*0 devices (which I use)...

mr.snowflake, I have a Gigabyte GN-WP01GS which supports softap, do you know how I can get it to work with NDS WFC. I get to the final part of it, then the signal goes red. It says there's no IP address or something
