im planning to buy flash equipment but what is compatible with MML?
(pictochat trick=yellow screens so V4 that needs sram? isnt it?)

Every DS is complatible with MML to date.

Recommended flash equipment depends on what you plan to run.
.mb.gba and .nds: GBA Movie Player
Above and .gba and .ds.gba: SuperCard
Somewhat better GBA support than SuperCard: M3

GBA Movie Player version 2 SD is not compatible with Nintendo DS homebrew.
GBA Movie Player version 3 SD is the M3 and is compatible.

I would suggest either Supercard or EZ Flash i have try both working fine. I would however advice against Datel Media Dock . Hard to get things work fine on it for now

If you plan on using DS homebrew and not most GBA homebrew, go with the GBA Movie Player v2 CF.

The Passcard 3 in that package would replace the MML. If you buy that, it should do the trick.
