DS Flash Equipment > M3 problems (Renamed)

How long does it take? This is my 2nd upgrade of firmware and it seems to have hung on the black updating screen. Should I turn it off? Have I killed the m3 mini sd adapter? ??

Mike

*edit*

Ok, now the thing wont boot properly. I followed a tutorial on another forum that recomended putting some labels inside to fill it out a bit, and despite booting, it hangs when I click on a folder withing the games menu. argh.

This thing is more trouble than its bloody worth.

*edit 2*

Flashed the firmware again and all is good.

It shouldn't take longer 2 minutes. Try installing the update in GBA mode. M3 has a protected area that isn't flashed, so a failed update won't kill it.

yeah, I tried it in GBA mode and it seems great. No idea what the update did but I prefere to have everything with the latest firmwares etc.
Cheers,
Mike
