DS Flash Equipment > Supercard

#104882 - Dan2552 - Tue Oct 03, 2006 8:25 pm

Well, now I have an income, I'm thinking of buying a supercard for the extra ram for DSlinux, and the save space for those homebrews which use the weird save thing with it.

I thought I'd post to ask the general homebrew public to whether or not the compact flash supercard is fully compatable with everything I want to use it for.

Also, if I'm allowed to ask, what's the cheapest/best place to buy one from? (UK prefered) PM me if you're not allowed to post things like that.

edit--
oh, and full GBA homebrew :P

Generally, site recommendations aren't allowed on the forums.

But check your PM.

If you're gonna buy a SC:CF, buy it soon. From what I understand, they were discontinued by the manufacturer, and many shops have little/no stock left!

I'll order next friday when I have the money. I hope they don't go out of stock by then :x

w00t, ordered.

So will goomba colour work full speed on this?

Goomba Color will be unaffected, as it is a GBA application and will therefore still be subject to the GBA's limitations. If anything, it might actually suffer from the Supercard's poor GBA compatibility, due in part to slow RAM chips.

I mean compared to GBAMP

I've recieved it now, so is there a DSorganise mirror where I can get a supercard version, or do I patch my current one from my GBAmp, if so - what do I use to patch?

I just uploaded files to make a DSOrganize mirror on my website.
