DS Flash Equipment > Datel Max Media Dock question

#106971 - jester - Wed Oct 25, 2006 10:25 am

Would it be possible to use a Datel MML instead of a normal ds game as a donor card and if so would the datel mml be able to save more than one game?

Erm, you misnamed this topic.

As for the question, I'm not sure. The MML doesn't support sleep mode, that's all I know :-)

A) What do you mean by 'donor card'? I haven't heard this term before.
B) The MML has nothing to do with any kind of saving...it simply is there to boot whatever is in the GBA slot

well i have heard to saving a commercial game when using the $PIRATETOOL you would need to use a real nds card which many call a "donor card" and i was wondering if a MML could act as a donor card but contain more than one save.

Does the Datel MML have any onboard memory

I don't understand!!! When saving a commercial game, it saves to the card, right??? Have I been living a lie?!?!?!

The MML is just a passthrough as far as I know, no onboard flash memory or eeprom.

thanks for the info it has been noted that you can only fit one save game when using the donor card i guess its a EWin2 for me then

Ah, I understand the confusion, jester is talking about warez/backups/etc. Most people on here probably don't have knowledge about that sort of thing.

Can we lock/delete this topic please?
