Ok so far i have
-nintendo ds lite
-supercard cf with 1gb cf card
now, i am located in the usa. which version of nopass should i get there are so many? superkey?
any online shops you recommend?

I would recommend Superkey for you. The PassCard 3 would work fine as well.

Yeah, just head over to Retailer Feedback and see if you can find a retailer in the USA that doesn't have a lot of complaints.

Look in your PM box, and I\'ll send you the url of the place I use.
As for the card, you may not even need one if you can get wifime to work and can flash your DS. (then you can go homebrew with just the GBA cart.) However, I recommend the PassCard3. It\'s what I use, (or used until I flashed) and I had no problems with it at all.

Uhh.. WiFiMe doesn't work with a DS Lite.

Wifime only works with very few, old ds's. If you're wondering if your ds is old enough, chances are it's not. I think Nintendo got rid of that security hole the same firmware version PassMe 1's stopped working. WMB, however, works with every ds version.

What we need is to designate a specific wiki as the knowledge base for users and developers of DS homebrew. Before SimonB tightened the rules on what constitutes "supporting" piracy, we had one (PHWiki). Should we just designate DSWiki at tobw.net for both GBA-mode and DS-mode of the Nintendo DS system?

WifiMe and PassMe1 work with versions 1 through 3. I think the earliest version of Lite is 5.
Wikipedia has a fair bit of info on this, heck, I wrote a lot of it. :p
