Yes. Turn off "header fix" and "multiple ROM menu" (or whatever the software calls it), and it should work.

Does the f2a software not allow you to burn only a single rom without a menu? All I needed to do with my ezflash128 was turn off the menu and it worked fine.

In that case, it might be faster to go out to your local game store and buy an Action Replay DS for approximately $25 USD, as that can function as a NoPass device if you hold Select upon bootup.

I find that hard to believe.

If you know how to solder, you can attempt ppflash to install the FlashMe failsafe code, but you risk destroying more than the firmware on the DS. How many hours of your time is a $25 Action Replay DS worth?

not the ds firmware ,the router firmware
(ahhh! i just wont some way to play a homebrew game on the ds
without buying anything)

He's pointing out that either A) you can't read, or B) choose not to.

That's all.

i just bought a action replay ds model DUS0167-I
is this a version that has the nopass function if you hold select at startup
i found this quote from the pocket heaven wiki
Quote:
Action Replay DS (ARDS for short) is a cheat cartridge for the nintendo DS by Datel, designed to allow memory changing type cheats on original DS game cards. Action Replay DS also has a nopass function built in (provided you have firmware revision 1.02 or later). To use this nopass function, you hold select on powerup.

does this model have firmware 1.02 or above??and even if it doesnt
ive heard that software that comes with the ards can update software
does this include firmware?

Yes, the PC program should update the firmware. The version number should be displayed in the top left corner of the top screen.
