What are the exact things you are trying to do? (Please explain like "I copied 'xxxx' to my SD card. I booted Nintendo DS.")

You posted in "DS Motion Sensor". Problems getting things to load from SD cards go in "DS Flash Equipment".

I'm assuming that you want a gba flashcart to allow you to run games off of your SD card. Read my post in retailer feedback and get the supercard SD. It's pretty good with homebrew and "rr" compatibility. Do NOT get the rumble series, though.

I don't get it: the rules are there so Ninty don't come down on this site and shut it down. These rules do seem to stop people talking about illegal stuff, but I reckon if you did a search on these boards for 'ROMS' you'd find *hundreds* of posts!
If a Nintendo representative does find these hundreds of hits are they really going to read through every post just to confirm that they say "please don't talk abut ROMs"? No.
Do the rules need to be upgraded somehow - for instance, mods deleting whole posts/threads to do with ROMs? Bannings? Warnings? (I don't wanna seem a bit over the top here btw)

I think the mods should approach things a little more heavily.
Homebrew executables should be referred to as binaries or somesuch and any use of ROMS should just be filtered automatically by the forum software and, additionally, notify a mod via email (I'm thinking an email with a "Click here to delete the post in question" link).
Okay, so maybe that's a little too totalitarian, but still...

Well, there is.. but normally most agree with Nintendo.. Anyway, I'd delete anything that even smelled romz related. There are plenty of illegally downloaded warez romz related boards out there that they can get their questions answered. And I'm sure their questions have already been answered 1,000 times.. so let them read it there before posting here.

The problem is that you haven't specified a problem. The solution to this problem is for you to specify a problem, then we can go about attempting to find a solution to your problem.
