I'm having trouble getting my pc to notice my NDS. I have a NDS to PC cord that I use to charge it, but I'm wondering how do I get the PC to notice the DS without WiFi.

what do you mean by "notice the DS" ?

the PC "cord" that you're talking about is probably a USB looking cord, yes?

if so, it's just using the power from the USB port on your PC to charge the DS. there's no communication possible there

No WiFi = No Communication

I wonder... is any sort of usable data transfer possible through the charging cable?

No.

I think the only non-power data that the power port can be used for is audio, as the GBA SP headphone adapter will work on DS Phats if I'm not mistaken.
