DS Flash Equipment > Moonshell on R4ds?

#129986 - spinal_cord - Tue May 29, 2007 9:15 pm

I noticed that moonshell doesn't like to launch anything on an r4ds, does anyone know what the problem is, or am I just being thick?

Same problem here.

I literally just bought this M3 Simply and I can't boot anything through moonshell except the homebrew program NitroHax. I have patched the .nds files with DLDI, but still it says something about bad adapter type. Am I missing something critical here?

uh, what are you trying to launch?

moonshell is for audio, video and ebooks

it's not really a launcher for homebrew or roms

Some people auto-boot it...

I have use moonshell for years to launch homebrew from gbamp and it has always worked. In fact I don't think I've found a homebrew yet that doesn't launch from moonshell.

Are you using the moonshell that came with the R4 or did you install it yourself?

Both, I installed the latest moonshell because the one that came with the R4 firmware doesn't boot much. Bot usually say "not support adaptor type".

Moonlight hasn't made a bootloader yet. It does work with most older adapters, mind you.

The weird thing about it is that it works with some files. I think it may have to do with free RAM (pure speculation :P).
