DS Flash Equipment > M3 DS Simply. Also Moonshell, and system locking up

#137427 - DiscoStew - Sat Aug 11, 2007 7:27 pm

I just recently got myself an M3 DS Simply. I'm loving it since I got things working on it, but there is one thing I'm concerned about. The clicking mechanism in the card doesn't seem to be working right anymore, although I think I can deal with it. I push the microSD card into it, and before, it would stay in until I push it again to get it out. Now, it won't stay in if I push it in like you would with a DS card int othe system. What I do now is push it in slowly until I can feel/hear a click, and which I release, and the card stays.

Moonshell works fine, but when I go to close it down or change some interface options requiring it to reset, I get the following message

Code:
boot MoonShellExecute Soft reset Version0.

Moonlight
DevKitARMr17 + libnds-20060201

EID: 01010101
AdapterName: R4TF
ShellPath: /moonshl
FilePath:
FileAlias: _SYSTEM_
UnicodeFilename: _system_/
go to farmware menu. [R4TF]
not support adapter type.

Is there anything I'm doing wrong? Maybe I don't have some particular file(s) on the system?

That means moonshell doesn't support booting on your adapter. I get that all the time on my GnM, just turn off your DS and turn it back on.

DiscoStew, go to http://blog.so-net.ne.jp/Rudolph/2007-06-13, grab reset_mse05kr2.zip and extract it...

Place the file reset.mse from the .zip onto your MicroSD in the directory /moonshl/plugins/, overwriting the one that's already there.
