i detect an acces point in channel 2
that use wep, red lock.



i can't succes connecting to that AP :?(

error: "51302"

i tryed to config data manually but i dont succes connecting.


i got another AP with wep in channel 8 and i can connect wtout problems with dhcp and also configured manually.

why i can't connect to the one i want ? :s
when i scan i get 4 green signal bars in the AP i want to connect; but when i insert WEP Key, then i try to connect; the signal is always red; (so strange)

i can connect to the AP with my laptop, so i dont find a reason about why i can't with my ds, is WEP and mac filter is not active :?(

help! :s

I have a problem with an AP too. It doesn't use any encryption, and I can associate with it just fine, but there doesn't seem to be any actual Internet connection. DSO freezes trying to access anything, Mario Kart DS gives me an error in the connection test (I don't remember which <_<), etc. I've tried setting IP and DNS manually, though I'm not 100% sure as to just what IP and gateway I should be using. DHCP works in DSLinux, but I still can't get through to anything, even pinging the default gateway address times out. Only my own IP responds. Is there anything else I should try?

Ripping the uselessly incompatible wi-fi module out of your DS and Wii?
Seriously, I've tried three different APs. One worked quite well, if extremely slowly, another kept dropping out at matchmaking, and my new one is rejected completely.
