DS Flash Equipment > SuperCard DS-ONE control commands.

#158714 - SoLo2 - Mon Jun 16, 2008 8:06 pm

Hello!

After reading the "C" code of the
drivers available for the SC DS-ONE,
I see that there are different control
codes in each driver source.

Where are the specifications?
Does someone know the control codes?
Someone also asked if there wasn't a
more DMA kind of way of access...

I am programming in ARM assembler.
Wish a cleaner code by having the
SC driver as .asm source or at least
not to include the available drivers as binaries (cludge).

Else, I will be contacting the producers
of the SuperCard, as they surely know. :)

Greetings,
SoLo2

Maybe it's late and I'm getting cross-eyed...but it seems like you posted this same message three times in different places.

Right now there's not really much point for optimizing for a particular flashcart anyway...with so many models out there, that would mean your app would not work for many people. Instead try changing your application such that you don't need to read so much data.

Hello!

I wish to write data to the Secure Digital.
This is necessary to save work done.
Trackers, office, editors, pixel painters, ...
are already out there in the homebrew.

I would start with the Super Card controls,
then maybe I would port to other known
flash memory cartridges.

Greetings,

The way this is usually done involves libfat.
