DS Flash Equipment > Flash2advance still works

#29555 - allenu - Sun Nov 21, 2004 10:18 pm

I just tried out my F2A 256Mb GBA cartridge on the DS and it works fine, for those interested... I tried out my little Project Hazuki game and it works, but I'm finding the buttons on the DS are too close together compared to the GBA SP! We'll have to see how that affects future DS games, although I hope more games make use of the touch screen.

Do X and Y on the DS do anything (A and B, turbo A and B, R and L) in GBA mode?

When I tried it, the extra buttons had no effect.

I have one of the older Visoly FlashAdvance 128mb carts and it doesn't work... the games boot but almost immedietly sease up. Maybe I'll clean the contacts and try again.

My EZFA seems to work on the DS. I will need to keep my old GBA so that I can flash my work onto the flash cart, plus for all those GBA multiplayer games via link cable.

Sooner or later, when the Nintendo Wireless Protocol has been cracked, wireless loaders will be made. It will a lot easier though, especially for laptops with built-in WiFi.

Can wireless USB adapters send signals as well as receive them? Because my university has only a few WiFi hotspots and I want to play wirelessly in my dorm room.
