With the advent of the wireless multiboot and improved firmware releases (by homebrew), PassMes and even GBA carts are much less necessary to run homebrew on hardware. You still need a pass-through device to do the firmware installation though, so if you would like to meetup with other homebrew developers, post here.

Include your location and whether you need to use a PassMe/GBA cart or if you are offering to share one. If there's a match in proximity and needs/offerings, PM/IM/email each other (don't reply here).

There should be one post per person, we don't need 20 pages of posts with random questions/babble thrown in (like the Firmware Replacement and WiFiMe threads!).

I have 2 PassMe's and 2 Extreme Flash Advance 256Mbit devkits and I'm in the Hartford, CT, USA area. I also use WiFiMe/wireless multiboot.

I run a university computer club and we will be meeting over the summer to discuss and share NDS homebrew as well. I might go to the Boston area for some game developer meetings also.

I have a DS and am wondering about this WiFiMe/PassMe stuff. I don't have enough money for a crapload of equipment (aka, PassMe device, flash cart, etc.). What is the easiest option just through wireless connection with my computer and my DS? I currently have a D-Link wireless router and USB adapter. please help.

You'd only be able to play official WMB demos.

Did you ever get into GBA homebrew? A lot of the people involved in DS homebrew use the same flash cart that they had used with GBA homebrew.

I currently have a bricked ds that was a first model japanese silver. I had it flashmed and everything. I went to change the shell with a shell replacement kit, not skins, the full shell, and now it just gives a little chirp at power on on wont even power up, icluding when hooked into the ac supply.
So...... enter getting a new ds.
All I could find was a used red ds from the mario kart bundle, that cost me 109, and I have no money now for a couple months. *sighs*
I need to get this ds flashme'd.

What I currently have are:
1 256mbit smart card gba flash cart.
1 Superpass
1 New Model Supercard CF with a 1 gig card.

This ds is definitely new firmware as my superpass only brings it to double white screens.

Also Ive got the bircked ds from replacing the shell, and I checked all the ribbons and everything are hooked up properly inside. I dont see how I can recover from it with it still being flashmed though if it gets no power. Is that normal for a bricked ds?

What Im looking for is if someone can lend me a Superpass 2, or a Passme2 or Passkey2 programmed for use with well, the only cart I currently have that I didnt sell to buy the newer ds:

Pacpix - the US version.

a way to send homebrew to your ds,
such as a wifi card that can run firefly's wifime app

Hey, is anyone else here going to Anim? North? It'd be a good place to meet up to flash eachother. (Heh, that sounds weird. :P) I'll be bringing my FlashMe'd DS, GBAMP and Mario Kart DS, not that that'll be useful to many people (but if all you need is a GBAMP to flash with, then there you go).
For that matter, if I suddenly get a lot of free time to experiment with the DS, I might try to write a WifiMe app that runs on the DS. Don't rely on this happening though.

I need/really badly want my DS flashed up. Willing to pay a couple bucks for the trouble ($5-10?).

I'm in Los Angeles, California (Gardena or Pasadena area).

I have a older DS with v2 Firmware, SuperCard CF with 512mb flash memory card. A Passme 1 will work, or willing to do it the WiFime way too. Already have the flashme file on the gba flash cart.

I suppose I could have just done this myself, but I'm leaving for the UK (Liverpool) in two weeks, and simply don't need a PassMe or a compatible Ralink WiFi card as money is tight enough as is. Hoping to be able to have some Moonshell for entertainment on the flight there. =]

A PassMe2 shouldn't cost more than $25, and then you can flash other people's DS units.

Although the lite seems a little risky, it does work.

I live in Rockford, IL and I'd just like to meet up with someone who knew about GBA programming and crap, I don't particularly care about flashing or DS dev, anyways, I don't have the money.

Anybody in the Cleveland, Ohio(Brooklyn, Ohio is a suburb) area? I need some type of passthrough just to flash my DS.

I have a DS Lite in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex in Texas. I would like to install the latest FlashMe over the default firmware. Does anyone in the area have the necesary hardware that I could use?

I live in prague, czech republic, I have everything, screwdrivers, slot 1 and 2 (R4 and SC Lite) and a little obsolete PassMe2 :)

Is there anyone in the central Ohio area (U.S.) who can reflash two DS Lites for me? Seems more logical than buying a PassMe or similar, and only using it twice. I know that most of the excitement was back a few years, but...:-)
