The Asus USB adapter won't work with WiFiMe. Your best bet is to find a cheap PCI or PCMCIA card off this page: http://ralink.rapla.net/

The USB adapters have a different version of the RT2500 chipset that the hacked driver doesn't work with for WiFiMe.

You need a GBA cart. At least to get FlashME installed.

Actaully for the demos I don't think you need to actually even screw with the firmware you just need one of these NICs: http://ralink.rapla.net/

IT MUST BE PCI or PCMIA not usb
IT MUST BE PCI or PCMIA not usb
IT MUST BE PCI or PCMIA not usb
IT MUST BE PCI or PCMIA not usb
IT MUST BE PCI or PCMIA not usb

I got this one: Foxxcon PCI
And I know it works...

Then you need the special drivers and software: http://users.belgacom.net/bn967347/

And finally the demos: http://akkit.org/DS/E3/
And homebrew: http://www.ndshb.com/

Yeah, that should be correct. The code for the demos is signed, so you should be able to upload it without hacking the firmware.
