Nintendo will be joining us at Download this year, hosting its own dedicated Nintendo DS tent. The tent will offer festival goers the chance to take a break from the music, play the latest and hottest Nintendo DS games, and get on stage to challenge other people with their best jokes in a comedy talent search.

The Nintendo DS is the innovative new touch screen handheld from Nintendo. With fantastic 3D graphics and a stack of innovative new features, the Nintendo DS offers the cutting edge in portable gaming. The sleek, stylish design of the DS with its selection of awesome new titles is sure to impress.

Nintendo DS games you can play at Download include: Ridge Racer DS (Nintendo), PacPix (Nintendo), Need for Speed Underground 2 (Electronic Arts), Goldeneye: Rogue Agent (Electronic Arts) and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory (Ubisoft).

wintermute dont try to be an asshole because if you read his post he clearly knows there will be a DS tent hes asking if it will be download play for your own DS or games on their DSs

thus making you the asshole

well, personally I fail to see why they'd be at a *download* festival without downloadable demos, especially when it's one of their major USPs. OK it's not clear from the information given but there's certainly an implication.

FYI I wasn't attempting to be an asshole and, being honest, if you don't have anything better to do than flame people for your interpretation of their posts then don't bother.

Moved to Flash forum as it has little to do with reverse engineering or original homebrews.

Im not sure if the would be downloads, im not saying they wont be, im just not sure, because i thought that NFSU2 for DS didnt have single cart play because there was to much to be stored on the DS's Ram. But i guess it could be done.

i can't imagaine the would be much point in having downloads, i certainly woudn't take my ds to a festival. Tents, large numbers of people and High value electronics just don't don't mix.

DS != High value electronics

i knew someone would say that, ok it may not be that expensive but the point still stands.

What about the nintendo booth at e3? there must have been like 500 people with DS's standing around trying to get the download demos. and i have to agree with the ds != expensive electronics, most cellphones have retail values higher than a ds

You make it sound like it's a bad thing the DS is cheap :\

Appears not, someone would have posted if it was done, or it would be obvious in another thread.

Just thought I'd say that the Download festival was a music festival, not some kind of festival dedicated to downloads ;)
